The Colorado, or "blue" spruce (Picea pungens) is a slow-growing species native to western North America. They are growing in popularity as Christmas trees due to their unique blue-green color, strong branches, and naturally conical shape.

Coloring: Needles are deep blue-green and extremely sharp. Trunk is silver to brown and has rough bark.
