The Scots pine (Pinus sylvestrus) is a fast-growing tree notable for its medium- long needles and stiff branches. Our Scots pines have the characteristic "cone" shape, as seen at right.

Needle Length: ~1-3 inches

Coloring: Needles are dull to bright green and sharp. Trunk is brown and usually rough.
