The white (or concolor) fir (Abies concolor) is a medium-needled tree known for its silvery green needle color and sturdy branches. White firs are becoming new Christmas tree favorites due to their tolerance of changing climate conditions. They retain their needles well.

Needle Length: ~0.5–1.5 inches

Coloring: Needles are flat, silvery blue-green, and soft to the touch. They have a slight citrus scent when broken. Trunk is silver and relatively smooth.
